Welcome To The Rip2It Family!
We believe that Rip2It offers a great platform to start building a long-term, secure online income.
By the end of this one-day workshop even the most complete beginner will have a money-making web-site up and running!
Things To Do Before The Get Started! Training - Checklist
1. Have you recorded the Rip2It login information that was emailed to you?
If YES, go to the next question.
If you have not received your Rip2It login via email, click here to let Rip2It support know.
2. Have you visited the Rip2It Site, and read the QuickStart document?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, click here to visit the Rip2It Site, log in, and click on number 1 to get the Quickstart document.
3. Have you registered a domain name?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, click here and register a domain name.
You will need a specific topic in mind in order to register a domain. If you have not already chosen the topic for your first Rip2It site, please choose a topic from one of the pre-made sites from June, July or August.
4. Have you set up your Rip2It hosting, and created an add-on domain?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, click here to visit the Rip2It Site, log in, then follow the menus to Tools >> My Hosting Account.
5. Have you registered with Adsense?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, click here and register with Adsense.
If you do not already have a website to use in your Adsense application, then we suggest you setup a Blogger blog and use that as your website when applying for Adsense. Click here to go to Blogger.
6. Have you registered with Amazon?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, click here and register with Amazon.
7. Have your registered with Commission Junction?
If YES, go to the next question.
If NO, today is your lucky day!
We won't be using Commission Junction in the training, so you can safely skip this step.
8. Have you installed FTP software (Filezilla)?
If YES, go to the next question.
Filezilla is free to download. Click here to download Filezilla.
9. NEW - Windows users only - install Notepad++.
We will be using a text editor during your training, and you will continue to use it ongoingly. While your computer will have a text editor built in, the standard Windows ones can cause annoying formatting problems when used for websites.
We recommend that you download Notepad++ and install it - it's free, and it will make your life much easier!
10. Take a look at the Pre-Training Review Material - Internet Basics.
Do you understand the basic concepts in this material?
If YES, check out "What To Bring" below.
If NO, there are written and video training materials to help you fill any gaps in your basic knowledge. If you have any questions remaining after going through this material, please write them down, and we will answer them at the beginning of the training.

What To Bring To The Get Started! Training
1. Laptop (we can accommodate a very limited number of desktop PCs)
2. Notebook or Notepad
3. Pens or Pencils
4. Business Cards
5. Rip2It login information
This is a hands-on workshop, so if you do not have a computer with you, you will not be able to complete all the tasks and get your website up and running on the day.
However, even if you are unable to bring a computer to the training. you are still welcome to attend, ask questions, and take notes for later use.
